Prunes are no longer grown in Ephraim as they once were, but at the turn of the century the prune industry was, in this case, a very viable family business which provided consider-able employment for many Sanpete residents. The prunes that were grown and packed in Ephraim were enjoyed and looked for-ward to each year by many people throughout the entire state of Utah.
