Wilkinson, admiDi&trator of the board of education oC the LDS Church. Lyman Moody. Elder Moody will enter the LDS Mission Home in Salt Lake City soon for training preparatory to servJce ,in the West German LUS Mission. The son oC Dr. and Mrs. Milo C. •Moody. Elder Moody is' a gradu::tc of the local high school and the Spanish Fork LDS Sem inary . He has been active in church work in the Ninth Ward 'here, and has held several positions in that ward. No decision has been made about the future use of the property. The McCune school beca·me a brancb of the BYU in July 1953. It was established in 1.917 in the music department of !.be LDS Univel'lS'ity. It moved to its present location in the fonner McCune mansion in 1920 at 200 N. Main in Salt Lake. It is estimated !.bat more than 30,000 students have been taught in Ule beautiful studio rooms of the old mansion. It bad achieved considerable recognition as ' a leading conser vatory in the West. It has produced several outstanding artists and its children dance group under the direction of Vir· glDia Tanner has received national attention in rna-gaunes and television. III recent years the McCune School has sponsored in the Salt Lake Tabernacle performances by Fred Waring sbow. the Berlin Phllharmonic Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra and last month the Philadelphia Orchestra.
