The Moab Garage Company, in which he is interested, operates freight and passenger lines regularly between Thompson and Monticello, Utah, and to Blanding and other points in the surrounding country when necessary; also operates between Monticello and Greenriver, Utah. The company has been operating freight and passenger lines since 1917 and automobiles and trucks are used for freight and passenger conveyances. A schedule of rights has been filed with the Public Utilities Commission of Utah. R959 - 961 The company also operates a scow upon the Colorado River, upon which is written Moab Garage. This scow was built in February 1925, it is seventy- five feet long, fifteen feet wide, three feet deep from gunnel to bottom, the sides being constructed of four inch plank and the bottom of two layers of two inch plank. It has a pointed bow and is propelled by stern wheel, driven by automobile motor at first, and later an industrial motor.
