Show 342 HENRY E. BLAKE For complainant ( R. Vol. 5 - pp. 678- 955) He resided at Monticello, Utah lineotype operator, is 32 years of age and was born in Las Vegas, New Mexico. At the present time he is a farmer but has followed several vocations since completing his high school education. He has followed the newspaper business as a printer and surveying as rod man and recorder. Has also worked as a carpenter for some time and as a boatman for the United States Government survey parties. Has had experience in boating on the Green River, the San Juan River, and the Colorado River. R. 878- 879. At the age of 13 made a trip with his father from Greenriver, Utah, to Moab, in a gasoline launch. In 1921 he was hired as rod men with the United States Geological survey and noted as boatman on the dangerous parts of the rivers. R. 879- 890. " Q. That took you on the San Juan River? |
