Show 74 PROBLEMS OF IMPERIAL VALLEY AND VICINITY. The New, the Alamo, and the Greeson River channels are ideally located for the main drainage channels of the district. At the present time they- are used for waste ways by the several water companies. A dam has been thrown across the Alamo River channel at a point opposite Calipatria, and the Imperial Northend and Northside Mutual water companies divert the waste water for- irrigation purposes.
