A. erythrorhynchus, founded on Bogota skins, is, we believe, identical. 114. PSITTOSPIZA RIEFFERI (Boiss.) ; Scl. P. Z. S. 1856, p. 78. Envigado, Concordia, Medellin, Remedios, Sta. Elena. (Mus. P. L. S. and S.-G.) Eggs (no 61) pale grey, thickly freckled with lilac-grey spots: axis 1*2, diam. *82. (See Plate XLII. fig. 8.) " This bird builds a nest of considerable size, made of green moss, lined thickly within, and on the outside prettily ornamented with long tapering green ferns.
