Show 14 1 pursuant to Act of Congress approved August 19, 1921, 2 entitled "An Act to permit n compact or agreement between 8 the States of Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New 4 Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming, respecting the disposition and 5 apportionment of the waters of the Colorado RivcT, and for 6 other purposes," is hereby approved by the Congress of the 7 United States, and the provisions of the first paragraph 8 of article 11 of the said Colorado Kiver compact, making 9 said compact binding and obligatory when it shall have been 10 approved by the legislature of each of the signatory States, 11 are hereby waived, and this approval shall become effective 12 when by act or resolution of their respective legislatures at 13 least six of the signatory States shall have approved or may 14 hereafter approve said compact, and shall consent to such 15 waiver. 16 Sec. 14. This Act shall be deemed a supplement to 17 the reclamation law, which said reclamation law shall govern 18 the construction, financing, and management of the works 19 herein authorized, except as otherwise herein provided. |
