Show on the Winnebago Keservation have been approved-the first in favor of Mrs. Rosalie Farley, a member of the Omaha tribe, for 12,002 acres, at an annnal rental of $6,001.09 for the first three years and $9,001.03 per year for the remaining two years; the other in favor of Nick Fritz, for 2,240 acres, at an annnal rental of $1,120 for the first three years and $1,680 per year for the remaining two years. W1PNEBABO. bag8 Reservation, 0kla.-The last ankal report mentions the exist. ellee of 34 grazing leases on this reservation, each for the period of three years from April 1,1893, at the iiniform rate of 33 cents per acre per annnm. These leases were originally exi=cuted.for five years, but mere approved for only three years. Nlneteen of the leases have been extended for the remaining two years. Authority was also granted for leasing, informally, the remainlug pastures, but no bids were received. The leases which were extended are described as follows: In addition to the abovc, the entire reservation is leased to Edwin B. Foster for the period of ten years for the production of pctrolenm and i~aturagl as. The royalty agreed upon is the casl~va lue of one-tenth of all crude petroleum produced and $50 per annnm for each gas well that may be discovered and ut~t i~edT. lle oil lease is in no wise to interfere with tbe nse of the lands for farming and grazing purposes.
