Monrovia Tunnels: (a) Note: These tunnels are divided into Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4, but for the purposes of this data are considered as a unit. (b) Location-north and west of Glendora in the vicinity of Monrovia, California. (c) Description-see photograph, Plate 13, for one of these typical 10-foot diameter distribution system tunnels during construction; see photograph, Plate 14, for one of these tunnels after completion. (d) Length-49,046 feet (approximately 9.3 miles). (e) Construction-all completed by October 10, 1938. (f) At Monrovia Tunnel No. 2, the Upper Feeder is connected with: 9.
