Show __2__ number of votes cast in favor of said proposition at said special municipal election was 86,154, and the total number of votes cast against said proposition was 15,846; that the votes of more than two-thirds of all the voters voting at said special municipal election were cast in favor of said proposition, to wit, "Shall the City of Los Angeles incur a bonded debt in the sum of $2,000,000 for the acquisition, construction and completion by the City of Los Angeles of a certain revenue producing municipal improvement, to wit: water works, including the acquisition of necessary lands and rights of way, and the construction of tunnels, canals, conduits, and other necessary works, in connection with an aqueduct system for obtaining an additional water supply for said city and its inhabitants from the Colorado River," and that the issuance of bonds of said City of Los Angeles in the sum of Two Million Dollars ($2,000,000) for the aforesaid purpose was duly authorized at said special municipal election. Which resolution being duly seconded by Mr. Allan was adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Messrs. Allan, Criswell, Gregory, Mallard, Sanborn, Wheeler and President Workman. (7) Noes: None.
