On the I ollowing day , he visited the and gave paper a 1·u11 account of his missiona r y l abors in Illinois , Indiana , and the Southern States ; the whole of which report was printed Decem be r 10 , 187 7. On December ll~he visited the school which was being co:oaucted at that time in the College Buil ding i n which his home was loca ted a nd wh ich was under the ) rincipalsh i p of russ c ook . During the next few uays he visited among his !'rie nds and met many old a c quai ntances l inding a pleas ing attitude on t he part of church members , but a r a vher bitter f' eeling OI opp osition on the part of the non-Mormon element in the city. In it all , however , he felt a calm and serene s nirit of con t e :o t ment in again being i n the a ssociati on of his fri ends and the home of his loved ones .
