Show Homicide (ICD-9Code: E960-E978) (1995 Total Deaths in Utah = 7) The age-adjusted death rate for homicide in Utah is 44% that of the nation. The U.S. rate had been at a high of approximately 10.5 between 1990 and 1994. This number dramatically dropped in 1995 to a low of 8.8 deaths per 100,000.
