Show What is it that happens in the black beyond of the unconscious? What are the machineries that shuffle and restack association to produce idea? Where is the fount of creativity hidden? Genesis in some contexts is logic, induction, categorization, utilization; in others it is emotion, expression, form, color, sound or style. In any case, it has it's roots somewhere in that dark mould of insight, input and integration which lies at the base of thought. Dead experiences reduced to component atoms, dissolved and synthesized into living ideas, spontaneious generation of the creatures in a mind. The sudden interconnection of invention is not subject to prediction or regulation. It can happen during sleep, at parties, on the job, any time at all. The ferment of ideation is a continual process that doesn't observe the physical boundaries of sleep, activity or even other mental occupation.
