Show KornsThe FootballKorns was the lightest man on the line. Although ~h/r he was rather light for the center position he was one IVIGTI (Continued) of the strongest defensive players on the team. His passing was good.WalkerWalker is the kind of fellow a coach likes to have on the squad. He may be used to advantage at half, full or end, and is always willing to work for the best interests of the team. He is excellent in making long, spiral forward passes and is sure at handling punts. He is a valuable man to his team.DoolittleDoolittle (first substitute) is much the same style of player as Walker. He seems at home either in the back field or at end. He is one of the best punters on the team and is sure at handling the ball either from punt or forward pass. He is likewise a good ground gainer.GrantGrant is a finished quarterback. He understands how to manage his team from the quarterback position, has rare good judgment, is heady, and is seldom injured. Grant may also be used to carry the ball either at quarter or half.Carmichael"Mike" Carmichael should make a fast end for the 1910 eleven. He is a fast man and has had experience, either at end or quarter. He is sure at handling punts or passes, and with his great speed he should develop into a dangerous man in an open field.JensenAlthough his first season at the game he proved to be of 'Varsity caliber, and with more experience should develop into an excellent man. He is heavy enough for the line or fast enough for the back field. I expect great things of Jensen.( 200 ) |
