Roberts 202 West 300 North Salt Lake City, UT 84103 Dear Mr~ Roberts: I have reviewed the engineering submitted for stablizing and remodeling o · the buildings at 111/115 - 25th Street and conclude the following: The engineering, as submitted, is acceptable for stablizing thf deterioration of the masonry and structural components· of the building : and could be approved upon receipt of plans showing the proposed worl and detailing the structural repairs_ This tentative approval does not include the repairs for the addition to thf building at 111 - 25th Street as located on the south side of the building I would prefer to withhold any approval of that engineering until such tim( as some preliminary plans can be prepared. On January 16, 1990, the Board of Building and Fire Code Appeals was give r the opportunity to also review the engineering and the proposals for tht building at 111/115 - 25th Street. The Board concurred with Staff action ant instructed Staff to proceed working with the owner. Please be reminded tha' the requirement for fencing the south side of the buildings was extended fO I thirty (30) days, which time was up on Friday, January 19, 1990.
