Show MAY 1 1886. I enclosed the pasture & pulled old Easy out of the mud ove Sat 15th . to north fork. s. s. Sund 16th. I attended Mond 17th. I worked on the ditch. & Ward meeting. Edwin, 'Yilliam & their families. Wm & family stayed with us last night. Tuesd 18th. We altered the bl, colt this A. M. & went to the horse race between John King & Clark Bros of Seveir Co. Johns horse beat. Charles Rowan Eme~J & I took the band over the mountains. Wed 19th. We brot a cow of Olsens & one of Mothers. & Wm went with us part of the way . I found a cow of Geo Olsens Thursd 20th . & brother home as well as an orphan calf I found. I went up to Johns early & brot some horses of Mothers Frid 21st. that Charlie & ;m brot in. We altered an Iron Grey of Mothers. I worked on the Cannal. Sat 22nd. John Wilcox Jr. worked for me yes- te rday and day be fore on the cannal. s. s. I attended Sund 23rd. in favor of the Bk of Mormon at the & Ward meeting & lectured on the evidence s. s. I started watering but the water failed. Hond 24th. load of Manure & plowed in some potatoes . I then hauled 4 John King & some of his family started for Idaho & ~ill Hardie to Colorado to sell horses. I with Bro : Hlcox & others went up & turn more water down Tuesd 25th. ·1m came & Geo Olsens sorrel horse. Wed 26th. Thursd 27th. We went to the funeral after which went up in the mountains on deep creek Frid 28th. Sr. Sarah H. Pratt died this P. M. I was watering. -~rm & I & C. Rowan & camped in quest of horses. He returned bringing two horses for Wm which we caught. Our little Edmund has been ailing for a few days. Sat 29th. Bros Wilcox & John Johnson & Dave Nichols & I worked on the old ditch taking the water out on c. L. Kings place. s. s. & ward meeting. Sund 30th. I attended Mond 31st. We worked on the old ditch a.gain. JUNE, 1886. Tuesd 1st. We got the water in the old ditch. 1Yed 2nd.
