Show June, 1885. returned today bringing my new wagon the one that William got on the sale of-my I rec'd 6 dols for services & 10 dols for road work. place. I returned today bringing my light wagon that August took Tuesd 2nd. August worked on the new ditch . down there Sunday. Wed 3rd. August 4 Clayton . I sold old Rock & one of Dans cows ~54.00 Dollars . dols for road work & Bro Wilcox what I owed him & I paid settled my bill at I worked on new ditch as did August . I drove off some yearling s & hunted horses . Thursd 4th. August worke on the old ditch . August Frid 5th. & I worked on the old ditch as did others & we got a small stream started . Sat 6th . We worked on the old ditch . Sund 7th . Geo Olsen going on the sufferin g oats. Mond 8th. mountain s . wheat . We were up early & got the water a I attended meeting . & Will ie & Samuel King arrived . Geo Olsen , V. H. Kine & I started for to hunt horses We camped at Mr. Parkers Ranche with Mr . McLennan & Co . & Mr . Hunter. Vied 10th . August We arrived at our old corral on Coyte meeting C. L. King Tuesd 9th . Willie & Samuel ~.· August watered grain . We a.11 hunted about here till noon then started for home cattle & horses hunting on the way . I arrived home about 9 oclock F. M. Geo & I & others hunted horses up deer creek returnin g Thursd 11th. very tired at 10 oclock F . M. No horses . Elders mare straying off & brot them home . Frid 12th. Found Father SJrretts Muggins Mule & Mr . August watered grain. Geo & I hunted horses on Forshee Mountai n. d & I lost m.y band & came down to north Ranche where Geo arrived at night fall stayed there all night . Sat 13th . & we August watered grain. Geo & I went up on the mountain & got the horse that ran from me & we got them in & caught two for Geo . ranche during the day. h y Culbert & Bro ·watson arrived at t I came home via Forshee s Ranche & east side of Otter August worked on the dam some today . Sund 14th . I attended meeting at New meeting house . The spea~ers wer Geo Olsen & Bro '•vatson . Mond 15th. August watered .
