Show attended the MIA this evening 1-mere the Bye Laws were accepted other business transacted. I went up to Bro Culberts. Sund Feb 3rd 84. organized there. A Sabbath school was Bro Frank Wilcox Supt , with Geo Black & C. L. King his assistant • Delilah King Secretary & 8 teachers chosen. My account at I . J. Riddles is sett led. 84. Mond Feb 4th Tuesd Feb I hauled a load of Fencing . 5 84. I started for Escalanta & came up here to Bro Riddles Re.nche 18 or 20 miles. 84• It stormed terrific all day Wed Feb 6th & I was unable to move from here. 84. Thursd Feb 7th The stonn continued without abating with wind as yesterday. Frid Feb 8th s4. Reuben Jolley, Jacob & Wa.tking Resse & I went on the mountains east after horses & I found Frank Dowdys mare. ing in the snow. t, · ' I gave Jake a dollar to ride my colt. Sat Feb 9th 84. not make it. We had a bad day wallow- With three horses I started on my journey but could I went on one horse nearly to the top of the Mountains. Snow un- broke up to the horses side but as I neared the top the snow grew deeper & deeper until I was unable to proceed farther & farther gullies & hallows were filled . than turned back. I It was 2 or 3 oclock in the day & I arrived at Riddles Ranche a 5 p. M. on Frank's mare where I fed grain & started for home at 5:30 oclock & arrived at Culberts where the MIA was in session after which I came home found all well & retired soon after 11 oclock. I attended Sund Feb 10th. Mond Feb 11th s. S. & read the paper. 84. A stormy bad day . I got my harness fixed & took some wood to the school. Tuesd 12 BL~. I hauled a load of wood to school house & Bro 1/Jilooxes. Wed Feb 13th 84. Clear but cold . The Thermomitor ran down to 32 de- grees below O this morning at 7 A. M. Thursd Feb 7 A. M. 14 Clear this A. M. 81-1-• Therm at 28 degrees below O at I hauled another load of fencing. Frid Feb 15 84. old Ivey I hauled fencing & wood. & two calves home .
