Show June, 1885• We returned bringing some horses. Tuesd 16th. Hunter. August watered & went up the ditch. 11ed 17th. & I brot a horse for Mr. I drove George&~ Samuel started home. hired Matilda to come tomorrow & wash for Eliza. a cow to north ranch I then went up the valley & August watered. brot old Tressa & calf. I at- We both went up the ditch taking a load of straw. Thursd 18th. tended the working meeting of the Relief Society while up there in company of the Bishop & we set apart 3 teachers for the Society. I went this P. M. to Mr. Riddles Ranche after Frank Dowdys Frid 19th . horse. August watered. Sat 20th. returned with the horse I went after. I it & had it in the pasture. Sund 21st. They had been usin August watered. I attended meeting & read a circular from the first presid ency then spoke for a while. August took the team to bring his mother. Eliza stated with him but the storm turned her back. Mend 22nd. I hunted stock till 2:30 P. M. when I attended a primary of the peoples party & was elected Secretary of the same. delegate to meet county conventio n at Koosharem. Bettensen was nominated for Constable . Bro. J. D. viilcox was elect d Bro Pectol was chairman, J.E. I found Geo Olsens cherry cow & a cow of Edwins, a yearling of mine, the latter two I drove to north Ranche as well as a yearling I had at home & I brot a bull home. & August returned bringing _his Mother their outfit. I hunted horses on the west mountains & brot a colt home. Tuesd 23rd. August watered grain. I thought was undivided but it was Johns. Wed 24th. I hunted horses west. Thursd 25th. Frid 26th. August watered. I hauled wood & worked River second time. I hunted horses east. The other bull I brot was taken away. Sat 27th. No success. Found old Bess & brother & a bull Aug watered. August & I brot a horse from north fork undivided . the tithing colt Bill the first time. I attended rode Eliza went to the mill this with John Whet on , In the buggy .I went to Kingston this P .- M. with heavy wagon Sund 28th. I s. s. & & Whettons grist. dard meeting here at Kingston & addres ed the people at the latter as did old Father Morrill. Mond 29th.
