Bertle sens & got my old wagon that he had repair d then . went & brot a load of wood while August pre pared a place to stack Frid 4th . V•fe hauled 7 loads of wheat • Charle s Rowan has been over the We hauled 8 loads of wheat . Sat 5th . mount ain & say someone has been meddl ing with my Robbin horse . It froste d last night . Sund 6th . I Cradle d a few oats the remain der This P . M. I . of the patch before break fast & after I went to the north Ranche hitche d up the team & came to Kingst on . I attend ed Co . Court at Juncti on . Mond 7th . I return ed home at noon Tuesd 8th. loads of wheat . August bound & shocke d o ts . this p . M. Thursd 10th. f I was breaki ng a wild horse till noon when Emery & I . starte d over the mount ain & camped about dark at the old corral A. P . & J . w. hauled 5 loads of oats windin g up the job . Frid 11th . Our riding horses ran away during the night & after we hun ed to a while I left Emery at camp & I took their trail & foll~NeQ them Ranche & borrow ed a horse there & brot them in saddle d up & brot in Robbin & band . & made my way back to camp & we We found he had been snaged . We then brot oclock p. M. Nelly & her band & starte d for home arrivi ng betwee n 8 and nine Olsens Sat 12th . We, A. P. & I went to Mr . Nicho ls & brot two of Geo for me & caught one horses then shut up the pigs that got out then brande d 4 colts of Georges colts to break . I went to Bertle sens & then shod horses the rest of da • A. P . went up to Bro Brind leys after the old sow . King & Sund 13th . I attend ed Ward meetin g where Culbe rt & I were the speake r . Mend 14th.
