Show Sat May 3rd. I arrived home after one of the hardest trips of my life Alva had been gone home a wee • Frank stayed with the herd at Johns. at 6:30 p. M. Sund May !~th. , fhen Frank came with the sheep I got Oris them over to the north ranche & I & Frank came over with the wagon & & Alma outfit this evening . Mond 5• This evening Thomas Jones whom William I commenced watering. had sent up arrived . I was gardening Tuesd May 6th. Thomas a watering. I was gardening but this evening I went to north Rane e Wed May 7th 84. & & brot a deserted calf home on my horse . Eliza Thomas watered . & I regestered . Mr. Jos Forshee is register . Before breakfast I brot a perishing cow of ours that Thursd May 8th. I got part way home last evening. I was choring about. I was gardening this A. M. Frid May 9th 84 . & this P• m. helped hunt stock & sold at Johns 20 cows to Mr. Forshee for $650.00 . I took Bill & Brig Nay to the north Ranche to shear she P• Sat May 10th. They came up yesterday. was one of the speakers . named Culbert Lorin . s. S. & The infant son of Geo & I attended Sund May 11th 84 . 1 V-ard meeting and at the latter Clarinda Bl ack was blessed & John started for Sna Juan Co . yesterday . The high water had taken our dam away Mond May 12th 84 . Jones worked with the rest on it till noon when he & Thos stayed there to water for him & & & I & Thos I went to Bro P. C. Humphries he came home with me by the way of the ditc where the work was going on. Bro Humphries worked at my light wagon. stream out of the dry wash. I helped bro H. on the wagon. Wed May 14th 84. new tire trying to weld them & had to give them up . Isaac J .
