Show have tried to get all that I could out of my courses, and I expect to pass the final examinations without very much difficulty. I have been pleased to find that the standard of scholarship here is higher than I expected, and I shall never regret my decision to come here. <br><br> I have not heard from the Collegiate for some time, but trust that you have experienced a successful year. I have great hopes for you, when you can move out on the hill. <br><br> How are athletics prospering? I hope that you can put out a winning base ball team, and make up for the foot ball disaster. We do not expect much from the Harvard team this year. There are only three or four veterans, and a poor staff of pitchers.
