Further Information In this letter to his uncle, Thomas Riach writes that he is facing expulsion from school and that he hasn't told his sisters, who are also students at the school. He comments that the third term will be finished by the end of the week and is grateful that if he leaves, at least it isn't during a midterm. He then warns his uncle that the school principal may write him. Lastly, Thomas reports that his uncle's letter with money was received that morning and thanks him for it.
