Salt Lake Collegiate Institute, <br> Salt Lake City, Utah. <br><br> Dear Sir:- <br><br> We are in receipt of yours of the 23rd inst. relative to the issuance of clerical courtesies to mission teachers in Utah and Idaho and in reply thereto would state that as all applications from Utah and Idaho are handled by the Trans-Continental Clergy Bureau, we have referred your letter to Mr J Charlton, Joint Agent, Trans-Continental Clergy Bureau, Railway Exchange Bldg., Chicago, Illinois, for necessary reply. <br><br> Upon receipt of the list from Mr Olin we suggested to him that he furnish a similar list to the Trans-Continental Clergy Bureau and are to-day in receipt of advice from him that he has done so. Eben E. MacLeod, of the Clergy Bureau of the Western Passenger Association, writes this letter in response to Mr. George B. Sweazey on the matter of mission teachers in Utah and Idaho wanting clerical discounts for railroad passage. Mr. MacLeod writes that he has forwarded Mr. Sweazey's letter to the Trans-Continental Clergy Bureau in Chicago, Illinois, and to expect to hear from Mr. Charlton. Mr. Sweazey is the principal of the Salt Lake Collegiate Institute of Salt Lake City, Utah. |
