M<br><br> Dear friend<br><br> I have just been to Leadville to see my brother and also saw your friend Dr. McCush I got your letter at the office to day on my May home also one from Tom which I enclose It grieves me to the heart to think that such would happen I know that he got hurt with a horse some time before he went to the school Which might have caused this inflamation. I have prayed daily for the children of that institute that they would be guided in the right way by there Principal and teachers. In this letter to George B. Sweazey, James Riach writes that he had been to Leadville, Colorado, to visit his brother and has just gotten a letter each from Mr. Sweazey and Tom. He comments he is grieved at their news and mentions an accident Tom had with a horse that might be the cause of Tom's current inflammation. He then tells of how he prays for the students of the Salt Lake Collegiate Institute of Salt Lake City, Utah, of which Mr. Sweazey is president, and recognizes that children may err. |
