Show - WATER FOR UTAH land in the vicinity of Hurricane. A second reservoir would be constructed on Santa Clara Creek, the water to be used for new lands and also supplemental irrigation in the vicinity of Santa Clara. Present power plants in the Virgin River Basin have an installed capacity of slightly under 3,000 kilowatts, which in 1945 generated 13 million kilowatt- hours. Potential developments involve the construction of the Virgin, Bench Lake and Warner Valley hydroelectric power plants with a potential capacity of 4600 kilowatts and generating capabilities of 15 million kilowatt- hours per year.
