A We had four open rowboats, of rather sturdy con-struction, 18 feet long; I guess about four feet beam, and I think a draft of 6 to 8 inches. Q How much draft? A 6 to 8 inches; that is my impression; I did not measure it. I do not think it could have been more than 8 inches. Q During the month of September, 1927, you were up on the Colorado River, between Cisco and Moab, were you not? A Driving in an automobile, not in a boat. Q Did you make any notes on that trip?
