Show 5945 3946 A No, I think not. Q Well, I will ask you now, on you journey up, where, after you had this difficulty in the vicinity of King Creek Well, did you next have any special difficulty that stands out in your recollection? A Just below the deck at Moab. That particular thing stands out as the greatest difficulty. Q From your testimony, and the Special difficulties that you spoke of throughout your testimony, I assume that you encountered more obstacles to navigation on the upper half of the river, between Moab and the mouth of the Green, than you did on the power half of the river; is that correct? A No. I would say that it was equal; there was just grounding and being able to get off which a lesser degree of difficulty Q On the upper half or on the lower half?? A On both halves. Q well, what was " lesser", then? A That from the standpoints of running aground and being able to get off with a lesser amount of difficulty than the special places which I mentioned yesterday, the lower half was equal to the upper half. |
