A Why, I was on the Yuma project three years in very-ing capacities, from chainman on up to instrument man. Then, in the Colorado River Basin Service, I was instrument man and chief of the party. Q Have you also been on the Green River? A Yes. Q At what points? A Well, the first points was from Greenriver, Utah, down to the junction of the Green and Grand. Q Do you recall when that was? A In the summer of 1914 Q And in what months, if you recall? A If I remember right, we started the survey about the 10th of July, 1914, and finished up that particular job in late August; I am not positive. Q What was the particular object of this party? A Reservoir survey and possible dam sites situated at the junction of the Grand and Green. |
