Show 21* - Epilogue The peaceful entry of New Zealand into the British Empire is uninue in British history and is a tribute to the dedicated work of those Anglican and Wesleyan missionaries, such as Henry Busby, who came to ^ew Zealand early in the nineteenth century, and by whose good work and example the Maori, such as Roa, were made willing and ready to accent the nrotection of the British Rueen. Todav at beautiful Waitangi, near the remodeled Treaty House, stands the 'snare-Runanga (carved meeting house). It is uninue in New Zealand inasmuch as its carvings are representative of ALL Maori tribes.
