He drew his bone knife, sucked in a deep lung full of life-giving air and dove into the murky waters. "How peaceful and silent it is down here," he thought. It was a bright day and the ravs of sunlight filtered down to the deoths where he swam. How unreal it all seemed. Something made him turn his head and he saw the shark coming at him from behind.
