Show - ^'1 toward th* white sand beach that beckoned him. A morning seim in the calm blue waters of the sheltered bay would start his day off in a wonderful manner. The shadows raced awav in fear as the world became brighter. The morning was brisk and the water looked cold, so Roa lay on the x-jhite sand and felt the rays of sunlight strike his cheeks and trickle down like warm melting taro. As the sand grew warmer, he grew bolder, and suddenly he jumped to his feet and dashed wildly into the cool welcome spray until the water tripped him and he fell full length. He was up immediately thrashing and splashing, the water now around his waist. He felt the surf dash around his neck. Licking the salty taste from his lips, Roa dove head on into a test rolling wave. Being a strong ade^t swimmer, several strokes took him into deeo water where his feet no longer touched the sandy bottom. Tangaroa, the father of the seas had blessed him with prowess In the water. He felt alive with zest and a love for his beautiful native country with its seas, lakes, streams, forests and birds. A large wave assisted, him in his sxtfim back to the beach where he stretched out |
