Has received a degree from the University of Colorado in 1912. " I have been constantly in geological work. For a short period of time I was doing both geological and educational work.[ R. 1338] There years prior to graduating, that is 1909 to 1912, I was employed by the Colorado Geological Survey, assisting in geology through the southwestern part of Colorado, and then in central Colorado." R. 1339. He is familiar with the country in and about the confluence of the Green and Colorado Rivers. " Q Just tell me the scope of your knowledge of that country. " A From 1931 up until 1937 I was employed by the Midwest Refining Company in geological work, and the greater part of my work was in a corner adjacent to the Four Corners, that is, the corners of Colorado, Utah, Arizona and New Mexico. " This necessarily took me on both sides of the Colorado and Green rivers, the area in between, and took me clear down into Arizona and parts of New Mexico."
