The Glen canyon section is very much less navigable, practically, than the section above the junction, using the term navigation for such boats as were in actual use in the Moab to the Cataract canyon section." R. 1267. He did not see any other boats in operation on the Moab section of the river. The trip to Lee's Ferry was completed on September 4th. R. 1267. From there they went by automobile to Salt Lake City, via Kanab. The landing at Lee's Ferry is on the north side or the right bank. The bridge is about five miles below the ferry. Upon arriving at Lee's Ferry he turned the boat over to the Geological Survey gauge tender. R. 1268. " Q.
