Assaults or attempts to commit rape by force or threat of force are also included; however, statutory rape (without force) and other sex offenses are excluded.64 National robbery rates declined 7.0 percent from 1996 to 199765 Supplemental data on the type of weapons used in 1,346 Utah robberies were reported.
