Show Population by Sex The gender distribution of a population may have an impact on its health status and its delivery of health care. Females have typically been in the majority, with the gap increasing in the recent decades. Reproductive health, life expectancy, and suicide are only some of the health issues that have distinct gender differences. The population difference between genders in Utah is less than the rest of the nation. Table 8.
