Show Gonorrhea (Cases in 1998 in Utah = 231) National and local gonorrhea rates have declined significantly since 1988. The Utah:U.S. ratio suggests that Utah's incidence rate is approximately 10% of the United States' rate. Gender specific gonorrhea rates show a slightly higher morbidity in males than in females. However, the rates in both genders have generally been declining since 1988. Tables 65 and 66. Sources: Utah and U.S 1994-1998: US Department of Health and Human Services.
