Show - 4- GT: I see, and where did you live when you were going to school at Blanding, did you live in Blanding? MC: At Allen Canyon and then I was up here at the dormitory . . . GT: Oh, were you? MC: ( can't hear) GT: In Allen Canyon. Were you able to go home on weekends and things like that? MC: No, no ( can't hear) GT: Would they let you if there had been a way? MC: ( can't hear) GT: I see. MC: ( can't hear) GT: You graduated in the third grade. So you had about three years of schooling. Did you go back to Allen Canyon after that? MC: Yeah. GT: Uh huh. Did your family raise sheep? MC: ? not much. GT: Not much. Any goats? MC: Yes, they had goats. GT: How many goats did they own? MC: I don't know, about 45 or 50. GT: Is that right? A good sized herd of goats. Did they use them for milk or what was the reason for having such a large size herd of goats, meat? MC: Meat, milk, all that stuff. |
