MC: Somewhere out there. GT: ( laughter) MC: They're drilling well up here now. GT: We saw that. Think they're going to strike anything, besides dirt? MC: Yah, they struck one right there. GT: Did they? That's just here in . . . MC: That's where this waterhole comes from. GT: Comes from. Do you remember any of the other people that were over there in that area, that came over here? MC: I dont know. GT: Don't know. When did you move down from Allen Canyon to White Mesa, Mr. Cantsee? MC: We first moved from Allen Canyon to Blanding when the Nephites run us down here. GT: When did they do that? MC: I don't know ( can't hear) GT: Would that have been during World War II in the forties? MC: Yeah, about 40, 43, 45. GT: Do you recall if there were any government people that came over here and participated in driving you all down here? MC: No, there was no government people. |
