And yesterday was my p ____ game and I went to play and when I went to play, a friend of mine called me that we had been friends. she used to live over here, but she lives now in Three F untains and she called me to pick her up to go take her. Shehad called several of the girls but they couldn't pick her up. So I picked her up and I always--if we ever had a game of bridge or anything, I always was the driver. \,1flen did you first start driving, ... I started to drive when I came to Salt Lake . "1hat kind tr/J of a car . . SA I had a Chevrolet. My first car that we bought was from -- was a Chevrolet. We got weeding present money and my husband and !--that was the first car that I owned . LF Cranked ... SA No, no, no. We had them at home in P . We had one, my brother had a truck that you used to crank. My broter Mike. W But we never had --that's the first car that I ever drove, you know, here. I drove a car but the first car I had driven of my own that we bought from the wedding present money when! lived in Bingham, we had to drive 28 miles going and coming from Bingham. L year married. SA Fifty- four years ago. Oh, no, h -- yeah, I wuld have been married 54 years. I was married in '28. That right? And I had my daughter in my oldest daughter Natalie, I had her and she should be 52 August the First. L --what did youdo when you went to saltai~. SA We went to swim and go on the different amusements. L rides they had SA Sure. that was the big thing. L What did they SA ROLLER COASTER AND ALL KINDS OF THINGS we used to ride on. The differnt things. theystillhave all the same as theyused to. L Did yougo to meet meet people. did you go there to meet boys sometimes--to dance to SA We used to go, not only did I go with end side one. |
