You know, to who~ver wanted to come. And she would have the freshmen over for breakfast in groups of so many, whatever could be accommodated. And she always had a tea for the seniors. And she would address you in chapel. you know, who graduated a±ways-nttd-e-€ea-£e~-en much of the time, or in assembly. YoUhave chapel 7:30 Sunday night. We had assemblies on Wednesday. L What would she address you w~th? EL About? Oh, it could have been foreign affairs. Mostly it was education though, and the importance of education. She was a Dance; scholar. That ~,AN' Te was her field. She wrote on ~· She was a great lady. Very tall, sweeping carriage. Held her head high, with her hair back. [what alar hair?] It was dark. L Did you come back during the summer months? EL Well, I stayed, after I graduated, and then when I came back, I worked there. Tha't was one summer session and then one was when the Bennington School of the Dance was at Mills College so I was there for that summer session, at least.
