ROTC The Naval Reserve Officer's Training Corps trains qualified young men to become officers in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. In addition to his normal university curriculum, the midshipman receives instruction in naval history, nagivation, weapons, engineering, and naval operations. The goal of the NROTC is the development of leadership, initiative, and professional skills in the individual. Unit Battalion Staff members were R. A. Sewell, A. R. Lee, S. M. Kimberling. M. W.
