Show TrackO. K. PARRY, Captain, 1915The track season was a success, and a very fine one at that. It ended a year bright in some respects and dismal in others. In the dual meets, Utah showed her superiority above the others. In the state meet, Creed Hay-mond's sprint in the relay, following an equally wonderful sprint of Flagel, pulled the Crimson into second place in the race, or enough to win the meet.Utah took most of the firsts in this meet but fell down somewhat on the seconds and thirds. Parry in the high jump; Van Pelt in the pole vault; Hay-mond in the hundred; Flagel in the quarter; Brok-meyer in the weights, were Utah's stars. The big surprise of the year came when Parry broke the conference record in the high jump by leaping six feet one inch. The other surprise was staged by the relay team. In the Rocky Mountain conference meet, Coach Ben-nion put up four of his best men. They won in record time, after Boulder had petitioned the board that they be allowed to admit two teams in this event, thinking they could take first and second in the event. The TeamFLAGEL, Captain....................-...................................................................440-yard dash and relayMcINTYRE...................................-.........................................................Shotput and hammerthrowVAN PELT.........................-..........................-...................___High jump, broad jump, pole vaultBROKMEYER.................................................................................................................Discus throwDOUGLAS.........................................-............................-...........................Shotput and hammerthrowPARRY (Rocky Mountain Conference Record holder)............................................High jumpPARKINSON...........--..................................-..........................-......................Mile and half-mile runTRAVERS...........................-...............-......-...............................-100 and 220-yard dash and relayROMNEY...........................................................-----........................100 and 220-yard dash and relayHAYMOND...............................................................................-.100 and 220-yard dash and relayTEASDEL.......--............-.'-,.........................................................-___.............440-yard dash and relayHURLBUT...................-...................................................................................Low hurdles and relayWOOTTEN..............................................................-.....................................-......................Low hurdlesWILSON...............................____.......................--.........................................Mile and half-mile runMcCARTY..........................................................................,...................................................Broad jumpSKIDMORE..............................................................................................Shotput and hammerthrowThe RecordApril 25.....................-...........................Utah, 72; Utah Aggies, 48..................at Salt Lake CityMay 2......................................................Utah, 85; B.
