Show Representatives of Utah Ski ClubINTRAMURAL SKIINGIndividual performance went for naught, and team play was at a premium when The Utah Ski club bested the fraternity field in the annual ski tourney. Leigh, Sigma Pi, with a total of 184 feet in two leaps, led Kimball of Sigma Chi and Mack Corbett of Pi Kappa Alpha in the jumping, and he came third in the cross country jaunt to cop individual honors. Gardner, crack Phi Pi Phi hill rider, was the first man to the tape in the cross country in 18 minutes 35 seconds. He was followed closely by Hap Kimball. Team pointage was awarded as follows: Utah U Ski club, 123, Sigma Chi, 70, Phi Pi Phi, 64, and Sigma Pi 28. Pi Kappa Alpha and Sigma Pi trailed.INTRAMURAL BASKETBALLBasketball, as usual, was the biggest pulling power of the intramural year. Pi Kappa Alpha, known of yore for its strong teams, played stellar ball to checkmate Sigma Pi in the final game, 15-14. Sigma Pi was a finalist again in the round-robin meet, but faltered badly before the smooth attack of the Pilmids, victor last season. A feature of the hoop season was the selection of an all-star intramural team by the Utah Chonicle. Max and Reese Llewellyn of the Pilmids were placed at forward and center, respectively, and Knight of Sigma Pi, Valentine of Pi Kappa Alpha, and Forsberg of the Pilmids, were named to complete the team.R.
