Show FROSH PLAYCrooks and more crooks typified the Freshman dramatic offering of 1932, "Not Herbert." The plot concerned Herbert Alden, a wealthy, refined member of New York's intelligentsia who planned and executed sensational jewelry robberies merely for the thrill he received. The role is a duel one which shows Herbert as a poet and a burglar. Herbert's experiences with his friends from both levels of society form a highly interesting and fascinating story.Although the youth of the cast was noticeable, the story was clearly and forcefully presented, and the entire production was well received by the theatre-going people of Salt Lake City. The cast consisted of David B. Ashton, William Taylor, John Ward, Marion Whitney, Majorie Hyde, Eudora Billings, ElMoin Kirkham, Marcellus Snow, Cherry Daynes, Hyde Clayton, Marjory Riley, and Harold Banks. The entire production showed the finished artistry of Miss Marion Redd.
