Chickens in foreground under shade trees; large left cen- tral tree in middle ground; architecture fills background; leafy foliage to right. Orchard at home of Harwood's parents in Lehi, Utah. The Dzlsk HOW 1897 Muddy, water-filled roadway in foreground; sky reflected in water; fence stretches across from left middle ground back to farmhouse on right; leafless trees beyond fence and house form a band across the scene; browns, violets, and a light blue and pink cloudy sky join to create the calm twilight of a rain drenched day. Street scene in Lehi. Home at Dzlsk N. D. Oil. A diminishing line of three homes along a stream on the left into the distance; land connects with a bridge near closest residence on the right; warm red light comes from the windows of the houses to form three punctuations within darkness; above are reds, pinks, oranges, and deep blues in a cloud-filled skv. Pelicatz Pohzt 1897 Oil. Low mountains in background seen through misty sky; lakeshore fills two-thirds of left side and spreads across the foreground to touch the lower right corner; a single sailboat is on the lake to the right. Pelican Point is on the west side of Utah Lake. The decorations made by Harwood on the original frame were important to the message of the painting. Utah Lake N. D. Serenity Below Liberty Park.
