Rocky Mountain Orange-crowned Warbler.-Vermivora celata ores Stomachs of 10 collected at Nephi, Timpie, and specimens O.berholser .. Dolomite, contained 57 Homoptera, including 5 adult and 4 nymphal beet leafhoppers in 3 stomachs, 32 aphids in 2 stomachs, 16 mealy-bugs in 1 stom ach; 110 Hemiptera in 8 stomachs, including 57 false chinch bugs in 7 stom achs; 8 Coleoptera; 1 lepidopterous larva; and 1 weed seed. Western Yellow Warbler.-Dendroica aestiva morcomi Coale. Two specimens, collected at Dolomite, September 11, 1935, among Cleome serrulata angustata, contained 6 Hemiptera; 2 Homoptera, each stomach containing a beet leafhopper; 1 lepidopterous caterpillar; 1 fly; and 7 Hymenoptera. Audubon Warbler.-Dendrioica auduboni auduboni (J. K. Townsend). Stomachs from 49 specimens contained 1 Orthoptera; 1 Odonata; 85 Homop tera, including 22 adult and 31 nymphal beet leafhoppers in 10 stomachs; 8 other leafhoppers, 1 aphid, and 24 mealy-bugs; 153 Hemiptera, including 45 false chinch bugs in 17 stomachs, 18 pentatomids in 8 stomachs, and 2 scutel lerids; 3 neuroptera, ant lions; 122 Coleoptera in 25 stomachs, including 6 flea-beetles; 14 Lepidoptera in 10 stomachs; 4 Diptera, including 1 mosquito; 77 Hymenoptera, including 59 ants in 34 stomachs. Townsend Warbler.-Dendroica townsendi 0. K. Townsend). Three specimens, two taken at Howell, September 28, 1936, and one near Timpie, contained 8 adult ad 4 nymphal beet leafhoppers, and 6 aphids, making a total of 18 Homoptera; 12 Hemiptera, 10 of which were false chinch bugs; I tera beetle; 1 lepidopterous caterpillar; and 1 ant. Ptleotated Warhler.-Wilsonia pu'silla pileolata (Pallas). Recognizable contents of 14 stomachs consisted of 2 Odonata; 27 Hemiptera, including 13 false chinch bugs in 7 stomachs; 69 Homoptera, consisting of 43 adult and 24 nymphal E. tenellus; 12 Coleoptera, including 4 fleabeetles ; 1 adult and 2 larval Lepidoptera; and 2 Diptera. An ex IW,estern M.eald.owlark.-Sturnella neglecta neglecta Audubon. amination of 34 stomachs showed this bird to have eaten 31 Orthoptera found in -17 stomachs, of which 26 were grasshoppers in 13 stomachs, and 3 crickets; 18 Hemiptera in 13 stomachs, 7 being pentitomids; 111 Coleoptera in 23 stom achs, including 1 Curculionidae, 1 adult Elateridae, 10 Tenebrionidae, and 3 Chrysomelidae; 26 lepidopterous larvae in 5 stomachs; 1 adult and 9 larval 13 Diptera in 2 stomachs; 24 Hymenoptera, 15 being ants in 4 stomachs ; 6 III seeds wheat 92 spiders in 3 stomachs; 325 weed seeds in 13 stomachs; insect and fragments. stomachs; plant Thick Billed Red-wing.-Agelaius p,hoeniceus Ridgway.
