Bullion Beck and Chanpion Headfrarre West end of Eureka -- 'IWo post "A" frame M:::>ntana-type headframe, wood tirrbers. CMner: U. V. Industries Inc., University Club Bldg., City ,UI' Age: ca. 1890 Significance: Sixty-five foot wood headfrarre is the only rermant of the Bullion Beck Mire, one of Eureka IS rrost irrprotant mines. It was disoovered in 1871 by MJmon, John Beck. (L) 395. Eureka Hill Headfram e Southeast of the Beck Mine -- 'lhirty-five foot, two-post wooden headframe with mine ciunp (ovemurden durrp) • CMner: Chief Can. Mining Co., Eureka Age: ca. 1890s . Significance: Another inportant mine to the Eureka area and one noted for its CMIler, John Q. Packanl WID with Tintic noney, built the Salt Lake City Public Libra:ry, now the Hansen Planetarium.
