Pacific Railroad Omaha, Nebraska Dear Mr Kenefick: We have documented an inquiry with Union Pacific in Omaha and at the request of Ms Churchill, w~sh now to place that inquiry in writing concerning the Milford, uta~ train Depot. Upon becoming informed of the future of this landmark !i;my office placed a call to Omaha and inquired into the acquistion of the Depot. We were informed that demo1ition.was inevitable unless the building could be moved. Having purchased land from Upland, and being in the proc~ss of acquiring additional land ,from Union Pacific in Utah it seemed as though decisions had been made and further pursuance would be fruitless. If an opportunity should arise to open'dia1ogue over alternatives that might lead to acquisition of the structure we would be most interested in pursuing this further. We have a definite interest in purchasing the facility and working with Milford residents, subject to your terms and needs. |
