Show CHRYSALIS PAGE 113 Just a note - things have been happening around here, for the better. Hurrah! David took his paintings to four galleries and three of the four liked them! We've sold one painting for $100. Also he gets a one man show in the fall. He's doing cartoons now, too - has sent them to Look, Post, New Yorker, and Playboy. Post rejected them and we haven't heard from the others yet. The cartoons are funny, too. More good news! David's sperm count jumped from 21,000,000 to 51,000,000. We don't know why, we're just thankful. I have an agent! Might be going to Las Vegas for six weeks as a dancer ($145 a week)! It would be at the Dunes. Nothing is definite. . . . We've moved at last. We got a cute upper with a small kitchen. The bathroom is much like the last one, except this toilet works. We've come up in the world. There is a hole in the hall which leads to a big attic that will be David's work room. Of course we'll have to get a rope ladder! Bad news. Our little Putt-putt was run over about three weeks ago. We ran an ad for him in the paper, and finally I called the refuse department and they remembered picking up a |
